The United States-Poland Democracy Dialogue was established by Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during their meeting in Washington on 3 March 2011. This form of cooperation is aimed at strengthening Polish-American cooperation in the area of good governance and global democracy, and at exchanging opinions between the governments of the United States and Poland and NGOs on the situation in emerging democracies and threatened democracies. The meeting laid the foundation for cooperation in the framework of the Polish-American Democracy Dialogue. |
