Films from the Polish Aid Forum 2007: - 4 min. version - 10 min. version The Forum, organised by Development Co-operation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take place on September 22, 2007 in the main building of the National Library in Warsaw (11 a.m. - 7 p.m.). The following events are on the Forum's agenda: - reports on the most interesting assistance projects in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe, presented by representatives of implementing entities and illustrated with photographs and films
- debates on modes of Poland's support for poorer countries
- meetings with famous Poles involved in development assistance
- live music performed by the following music bands:
- Bongo Bongo - Africa
- Djolof-Man - Africa
- Troitsa - Belarus
- Musa Ler - Armenia
- Bia³y Lotos - Vietnam (music and dance performance)
- exhibition stands of 40 Polish NGOs, public institutions and UN agendas working for development and human rights worldwide
- exhibitions presenting Polish aid and development problems worldwide
- photograph shows picturing projects implemented in Afghanistan, Angola, Pakistan, Peru, Ukraine and other countries
- short documentary shows about assistance projects in countries including Afghanistan, Angola, Darfur, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi and Sri Lanka
- educational fun and games for children and youth, focused on life in Africa
- competitions testing knowledge of recipient countries
- a laboratory offering preliminary malaria tests as well as microscope examination of malaria and amoeba spores
- demonstration of African handicraft
- photo-taking in national costumes from world's different regions
- African, Arab and Moldavian dishes
- Fair-trade products
- publications concerning development co-operation
