The list of priority countries is changing. In 2004 these were: Afghanistan, Angola, Georgia, Iraq, Moldova and Vietnam. In 2005, the list was supplemented by Belarus and the Ukraine.

Apart from that, Poland is also trying to give assistance to other regions and countries. The Small Grants Fund for the African continent (including assistance given through Polish diplomatic missions or missionaries in such countries as e.g. Senegal, Sierra Leone, Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, and Malawi) was planned for 2004.
