A new children's library was opened on Friday in Anjara. Under a programme entitled "Maktabati" the learning centre was established adjacent to the Latin School in Anjara, which Uday and some 200 students attend. Financed by a $35,000 grant from the Polish ministry of foreign affairs and implemented by Family International Community Services (FICS), the library boasts thousands of Arabic books as well as a computer corner, providing students with e-learning tools and other multimedia learning programmes. |
