Development Co-operation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites to a series of workshops, part of Academy of International Co-operation for Development and Democracy. The workshops will take place on September 17 - 20, 2007.

The workshops are directed to partner organisations of Polish aid programme as well as milieus engaged in development co-operation. The invitation is open to representatives of NGOs, administration, educational institutions and local governments which implement assistance projects for developing countries and countries in transition, co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The workshops may also be attended by organisations which are not co-financed by Polish aid programme, as well as by entrepreneurs interested in development activities.

Equal opportunities in assistance projects and cultural development determinants; gender issues confronted with religion and ethnicity in non-European countries - September 20, 2007

Security and ethics of co-operation with partners in countries unfavourably inclined towards NGOs - September 20, 2007

The workshops will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Warsaw's Palace of Culture and Science (12. floor).

Terms and conditions for workshop participants

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. The cost of travel to Warsaw is to be covered by the participants (delegating organisations).

All persons willing to participate must fill in and send the application form indicating the selected workshop at the following email address: polskapomoc@msz.gov.pl by September 5 at the latest. All persons interested in more than one workshop session are requested to inform us of their priority choice in the e-mail.

The participants will receive booking confirmation via e-mail by September 10, 2007.
